What happens when my current contract ends?
Our goal is to keep you working as steadily as you’d like. To that end, your Verity Resource Manager will search for your next suitable contract well before your current one ends.
After my contract employment ends, will I be able to continue my insurance coverage?
In most cases, you can continue group insurance coverage by electing COBRA coverage.
When can I enroll for benefits and when do they become effective?
Current employees are eligible and must enroll during the annual open enrollment period or within 31 days of experiencing a Qualifying Event. New employees must enroll within 30 days after the first paycheck. Benefits will be effective the Monday following the date that a premium is deducted from the pay. These benefits are only for W-2 consultants.
You are eligible to enroll within 30 days of your first paycheck. Coverage begins immediately upon enrollment.
Can I change my federal and state withholding while on assignment?
Yes, you just need to complete new forms and send them to the Verity Business Manager.
What do I do if my manager is not available to approve my time record?
If your manager is unavailable to approve your time record, please find another person at the client office to approve.
When are time records due?
Time sheets are due every other Monday by 5 p.m. The Verity Business Manager needs to be able to retrieve them from time tracking systems by Monday and consultants who actually send a time record must send them by Monday. Each client has their own deadline for when time must be entered.
Do you offer direct deposit?
Yes, we only offer payment by direct deposit. You can have your paycheck deposited into the account of your choice, just ask your Verity Resource Manager for a information.
How do I change my designated direct deposit bank/credit union?
You will need to complete and submit a new direct deposit form and send it to the Verity Business Manager along with a voided check.
How many accounts can I designate for direct deposit?
You may designate up to three checking and/or savings accounts for direct deposit.
How often will I get paid?
Verity pays biweekly on Fridays.
What if my address changes?
For an address change, please send the new information to the Verity Business Manager.
